This coming from the guy with a UFC guy in his avatar.

I said this over and over again.... I do no think they are bad fighters or the fights are necessarily bad they just arent for me, i dont like them for whatever reason i dont even know why.

And i know everyone loves these fights and i dont really care, the reason i posted was because i wanted to know if anyone else thought this now everyone is replying like im speaking blasphemy.

Exactly in these fights there is no holding, no slow starts, no waiting till there is 20 seconds left in the round to start punching. No in most of the fights its just plain WAR!!! You almost always get your money's worth and more!

Well to me its welterweights and below that truly make the sport unique. You're talking about little guys who werent genetically blessed with freak of nature size. speed or strength. Guys that are just as macho or alpha male as anyone but would have no other outlet to showcase athletic ability in any contemporary sports like football or basketball. Its what these little fighters put themselves through to make up 4 their lack of natural gifts that a jermain taylor or roy jones posses that make it impressive

It seems like fighters from welterweight up are the only ones that fight with power and speed together. Below they just with speed.
Maybe its due to the fact that the Lower weight division's fighters dont seem to have any impact on another fighter when he throws a punch? The reason why Welter and up are MORE exciting is because their punches have impact on the other fighter when they are thrown? I dont know I am theorizing here. I love BOXING period. All weight classes.
