    The Lightweights, DKP, and GBP

It wasn't too long ago that some folks were saying that GBP had a lock on the lightweight division, and that any fighter wanting to make some noise in that division needed to sign with GBP. Funny how quickly things change. Any of the top lightweights currently with GBP have a major problem. They can't fight for any legitimate world titles. Pac has the WBC belt, and GBP's lead dog DLH took him for himself. Imagine being a top lightweight signed with GBP, and your own promoter takes your most lucrative opponent for himself. LMAO. And the 3 remaining belts are all held by Nate Campbell, who is with DKP. And GBP has said on numerous occasions that they can't work with Don (unless of course it suits their own interests as in Mosley-Mayorga or the often discussed DLH-Trinidad 2).

But I'll make a bet right now that even though GBP didn't feel there was anything more they could do with Barerra (causing him to ask for his release), suddenly he will be mentioned as an opponent for the Casa-JMM winner or loser, and the Diaz-Kats winner or loser. He will all of a sudden be a "tough warrior", and suddenly they will be able to work with King. LOL.

Funny how GBP can work with Don when they think their own guy will win. Otherwise they can't work with him. Funny stuff...........

Don King will die soon (he's getting old), I wonder what will happen to DKP. Just stating the facts no harshness intended.
