Wlad is a champion in and out of the ring, helping people in other countries like africa... the things he does for the people of russia... he may not be as colorful as a guy like mayweather "lifestyle flashy" but he deffinantly does his thing.

Some idiots would be more pleased with Wlad's "personality" if, like Mike Tyson, he ****d a woman, said he was going to eat Povetkin's child, and then bit off Sasha's ear when they fight.

- Or if he bragged childishly like Muhammed Ali.
- Or became a crackhead, had a nervous breakdown in the middle of a fight, then spent time in a mental hospital like Oliver McCall.
- Or had a multitude of children he had to support from unwed mothers, like Holyfield, while all the time claiming to be a Christian.

Tyson actually had a similar personality to Wladimir in the 80's (on camera), before he lost to Douglas. He wasn't really a trash talker then.



I don't think the problem is Wladimir's personality but rather his boxing style, opposition and maybe nationality.
I doubt there would be as much criticism of him if he was American (it seems to be a big deal to some, but not all), boxed like he used to before the Sanders and Brewster losses (less clinching, more combinations, presses for the early KO) and had more 'inspiring' opposition (very few cared about Thompson, Ibragimov and Austin).

He needs opponents like David Haye, but Haye needs to prove himself as a heavyweight before taking on Wladimir. I'm not sure people would give Wladimir much credit if he fought Haye right now.

I guess Wladimir will end up being one of those boxers that people will look back on in a few years and say 'he wasn't that bad after all', like Lennox Lewis.

His personality doesn't need shaping up. He's proven again and again that he's the penultimate gentleman inside and outside of the ring. In fact he and his brother have done more outside the ring in charitible circles, mainly with UNESCO, than any other professional athlete. Not just boxers, ANYONE.

If you ask me, and you did, others should strive to be like the Klitschkos.

Cut out the racist bull****. Your choosing black fighters and picking out any negative quality you can. I mean, who has condoned Mike Tyson for raping a women? Who has giving props to McCall for having a nervous breakdown? Who has praised Holyfield for having childen out of wedlock?

1)Look to criticize a black boxer.
2)Find a negative quality about them.
3)Pretend like you take a strong stance against this quality.
