did DLH always have stamina issues, even in his prime?

i cant really remember his old fights, but i heard he always had trouble with stamina in the late rounds, even in his prime.

i remember he was dead gassed out at the end of the Quartey fight, but they were slugging it out for a while, in that final round.

if it's true that oscar always had stamina issues, it makes me wonder why.

why do you think he always had stamina issues?

was it a variety of different reasons, like:

    not training his stamina enough,

    over training,

    lack of relaxation

    too tense

    weight drained

    improper breathing

invisible fishnets too heavy on fight night

    opinions, guys?

    **** NO!

Oscar stopped Bredahl in the 10th, stopped Chavez in the 8th round in an all out war, he dropped and beat the living hell out of Quartey in the 12th, he K.O Oba Carr in the 11th with a killer left hook, he also stopped Castillejo in the 12, and he stopped Vargas in the 11th, so how the hell has he had stamina problems??

I think he always had some stamina issues but he had the necessary heart to just pull it out when he needed to, regardless of how tired he felt. The Quartey fight is a great example of this.

I think Oscar wasn't training so much between his fights.

He said he got very tired towards the end of the Trinidad fight and it affected his judgment.

From what i recall he ko'd most everybody untill he got to welterweight then we found out that he didn't have the same wind after like 8 or 9 rounds. Still dangerous as **** till the end.
