Is PPV killing the Marquez V casa fight?

This is going to be a good fight IMO and has a good supporting fight. No one is speaking about this fight. Is it because we don't think its PPV worthy or maybe the big USC/OSU game, what gives? I am going to get this fight and I am looking foward to it. Why the hell aren't you pumped for it?

To be honest I don't think it is PPV material. I'm not going to pay $50 for it. I don't mind either guy but I doubt it will be a terribly exciting fight and tbh I can't justify spending $50 on it. If it is on at one of the bars in the city I will probably go and watch it there.

Besides the big college game, it is competing with an equalling good lightweight title fight on Showtime. If this card had come up two weeks ago, I'd have been pumped up for it. Timing is everything, especially when it comes to PPV.

Juan Manuel Marquez is one of my favorite fighters today, but this fights on PPV the same night as Joan Guzman vs Nate Campbell and that fights free. Not to mention i think Elio Rojas, great prospect, was robbed terribly in his only loss, is fighting Hector Velazquez on the Guzman-Campbell undercard.

If Marquez-Casamayor and Guzman-Campbell were both free...I would watch Marquez-Casamayor. But instead i will watch Guzman-Campbell and download the other fights the next day.

So yes, i think PPV is killing the Marquez-Casamayor fight.

            Exactly

I really couldn't care less about the college football game but since I have showtime and the card is real good, I might just stream the PPV and watch the showtime card in HD.

I will be out of the country for this fight. Even though gas prices is now below 4 bucks, there are other necessities(food espcially) that are going up. So, either 50 dollars to feed you and your family or watch a PPV. Well, family is more important than a PPV fight.

With the College Football game and Showtime having a good card I probably won't be getting the fight either. Even though JMM is my favorite fighter. If it was on HBO's WCB then I would definitely watch it.
