that move by the referee was nothing but commonsense do you know how many fights ive watched in the states where the referee has inexplicably stopped the action when he should'nt have due to a mouth peice or to take a point off rather than wait for a lull in the action etc

you are just a Hatton hater the ref did him no favours that a non British referee would'nt have done

There was a break in the action as Lazcano was firing rabbit shots at Hatton.

Just the yanks trying to cover for Cortez's diabolical performance. They were saying the ref was biased after 30 seconds of the first round on the Versus coverage.

If you notice, Hatton's career has spiraled downward since he was knocked out cartoonishly by Mayweather. He looked like trash in his subsequent fight. His team is in shambles. His upcoming fight has no buzz whatsoever among the genpop. And his confidence is clearly shaken. Still.
Hatton has fought once since the fight with Mayweather so I'm afraid that what you have said is complete rubbish without any foundation. As a P4P fighter, to draw an analogy of a pub team playing a Premiership side is laughable.

I don't doubt it, And I do agree. Lazcano had a chance there, I don't know if he would have stopped Hatton or not, but he was deffinatly hurt. With the shoe lace I dunno, I suppose he could have left it until the action has died down.
