    Anyone been in this position???

    Whats up folks,

Hey recently was sparring with a guy and got hit in the nose, nothing major, at least I thought. It didn't bleed or anything just painful, I got past that after day 1 though. The problem now is I can barely breathe out of my nose properly. Its weird almost like I have a cold, you know, congested. I highly doubt its broken, I mean, I ve never broke my nose before but I'd like to think that I'd know if it were broken. Haven't seen the doc yet wanted to see if any of you have had this happen before, what did you do for it?

    Thanks in advance...

Hey, what's up the bone may be bruised if the difficulty is at the top of the bridge which may leave a "heavy" feeling at the top that lingers for a week or so. if it is in the middle of the bridge where the cartilage is located then it may have been deformed a bit or just bruised as well. In either case you should avoid sparring for a week or so and see if the feeling subsides. If it doesn't then you should have it checked out. Good luck.

Thanks Ace, I definitely haven't stopped sparring and thats probably the problem Im not giving it a chance to heal. But I got a match coming up Sept. 6th so I gotta work ya know. However, thanks for the advice, I ll probably get it looked at after the bout.
