The best performance of a national anthem at a boxing event

Just now the American national anthem played by a string quartet, not butchered by some self-promoting talent-vacuum. It actually has a half decent tune if you don't **** it up with histrionic vocal exercises.

The Star Spangled Banner is a very hard song to sing well, I always preferred it instumental. You are right most people butcher it singing.

It was a routine performance. Big deal. My personal favorite was R Kelly's rendition. Before a Jermain Taylor fight, if I'm correct.

Oh yeah, he changed the tune, yeah, what a moment in the sun for R Kelly.

**** him. I always maintain that performing the national anthem is an honour, not an opportunity.
