          lewis is jamican/candian and i always thought cerdan was overated he quit against la motta

            I'm utterly dissapointed that the poll doesn't include Battling Nelson. For those ppl who knows a bit about boxing history, he's arguably better than anyone on that poll

              Lewis is British, said so himself. He was born in Britain raised in Britain and trained in the ams in Canada then trained by Steward if you take his boxing background as his nationality then it has to be american considering Lewis was made 10x better by Steward. Cerdan is better Max, Vitali, Daruiz. Wilde is better than everyone up there.

                He is, So is Wilde, Lennox and Cerdan.

                  Yeah the poll choices went from 1910 to 2000 in a heartbeat, lot of people left out of the mix.

                  Battling Nelson, he lost a lot though. When I read stories about him, they tend to portray him in a heroic vein.
                  Just wonder how much is myth and how much is really fact.
