All these weight penalties just make the fighters focus on weight. Meanwhile Pac is as healthy as an ox.
the thing here Oscar offered this to Team Pac so that they will take the fight, Dela Hoya was serious of coming back @ 147, one of the reason he fought Forbes @150 and was mulling on fighting the winner of Margarito-Cotto but opted to fight the smaller man, thinking he has secured a victory over the P4P No. 1....

Exactly these men are ****** enough to fall into the "catch weight" trap but at least we know they aren't cheating,in pacquiaos case I don't think we will ever find out..but lucky he's got a fanatic fan base who would let him get away with murder.

oscar got what he deserved......but let's not act like the fact he was asking for it somehow negates the fact he was a mummified corpse that night.

Geez Bumper!!! I expected more from you...

Out of all the weight penalty stuff, this should have been the most understandable...

First off, Oscar ask for the fight. Not Manny. Oscar said he would come in at 147. Not Manny or Roach.

The only thing Roach did was protect his fighter. Putting the penalty in place insured that Oscar would not blow up to 158 or 160, or anything close to that. Oscar wanted the fight at 147, okay, come in at 147.

If you would have bumped the Cotto situation, I may have been able to see a point.

This situation sort of speaks for itself.

You should have just left it at that...Instead you had to try and discredit.
