    Amir Khan vs Breidis Prescott

Anyone even remotely bothered about this fight? Don't know if you Yanks know this but it's actually on PPV over here! Absolutely ****ing ridiculous.

Plus they're having the weigh in at the Arndale Centre in Manchester and they're expecting thousands to turn up.

Are we all drunk over here or something? Can we not all see how Khan has been down 3 times in his career already without actually fighting anyone? It's a joke!

This is not a big fight! It doesn't deserve to be on PPV and the weigh in should be in a hotel.

The British public are ****ing nuts.

I am, I want to see how Amir Khan has improved with his new trainer. And he will finally be fighting someone bigger than him, who has some power,

I am not paying PPV though, no ****ing way.

I've actually got tickets for it cos I'm a Nicky Cook fan, but I would not pay PPV for this for ****. I hope they get 2 buys. But I guess if they get 50,000 buys then that equates to £749,500. Still not a huge amount though, to be fair. Surely not as much as they could get from advertising on the main channel? I hope it's a massive failure for them because this is a real rip off. And if we buy it then more fool us, they'll keep on doing it because why not.

Sky mate, definitely. At least HBO has decent big fights (Winky/Taylor, Hopkins/Calzaghe) on BAD and WCB.

I think Precott power is overrated like any dude that has had most of their fights in Columbia. Prescott is not terrible but the only time I saw him fight was his only fight in the US and he was not overly impressive. Khan should be able to outbox him, pretty easily I would imagine. Prescott is raw and throws wide punches so Khan might be able to get some kind of spectacular knockout.

LOL, I might go down for the weigh-in just for a laugh.

Incidentally, I thought Khan had been down twice in his career? Limond and Gomez? Is my memory failing me because people now cite him as having gone down either 3 or 4 times.

I know there's a clip of him going down as an amateur but surely we're not counting that?
