Anybody know much about Ali Funeka?

I was thinking about Zahir Raheem to see what he has been up to since his lost to Freitas and I seen that on July 5th he was KOd by Ali Funeka, damn feel bad for Raheem, hes been around for a while and has not made it to the big leagues. His style is not the best but he got the job done at times. Anyway, anybody know much about Funeka

yeah, Raheem was saying he wasn't gonna hug anymore after some disasterous fights where he bored all on television (Freitas being one and a clubfighter on ESPN being another)
He proceeds to ko a guy on espn in 1, then gets lit up by Funeka.

Back to hugging Zahir. He's training with Henry Akinwande and John Ruiz to perfect his hugging techniques.

They disabled the embed feature on this video but the KO was right after the bell...not like it would have changed the outcome but it was after the bell

Well i used to do amateur boxing and I have the greatest respect for the sport because It's alot of work for someone to do this for a living, I respect Raheem and he does have talent just many lackluster performances

Sure he does. His career is on the ropes though.
I don't see a major network giving him another chance unless he has a string of impressive victories.
While Funeka's stock is rising because of his vicious power.

Funeka has some promotional problems right now, they popped up right after the Raheem fight. He is a big lightweight though and he seems to have real good power for that division.

Promotional problems=a long vacation before his next fight. This does no good for a fighter but greed overcomes everything so ill bet court battles will need to be settled before funeka fights again

Damn this guy is impressive. Raheem is no slouch. He fights similar to a younger Hopkins.
