Chagaev is overrated by some. he didnt even look impressive against Matt Skelton, and didnt exactly convincingly beat Ruiz either, and lost almost all the last rounds against him.

I disagree with you there. Chagaev is a complete boxer. He'd have a very good chance against Wlad, and he badly outboxed both these fools fighting today.

Chagaev beat Ruiz as well as anybody did (except Tua of course). He smacked him for pillar to post and easily took 9 rounds.
