Everyone Cotto fought at 140 was significantly smaller than him. It wasn't uncommon for him to outweigh his opponents by 10 -17lbs on fight night.Notice a Pattern? MEXICANS PICKING ON SMALLER MEN? First Salvador Sanchez vs Gomez,Margarito vs Cotto now Casarez vs Calderon? and then Oscar vs pacman but oscar gets a pass cause he done so much for boxing
Mexicans need to pick on someone there own size I never seen a Mexican who had the balls to go up in weight to challenge a guy way bigger?
maybe because they know there style is face first and too take punches on the chin to tire out there for before unleashing.Comment

Calderon won that fight fair and square in Barrera's hometown in Colombia. Good fight though and Barrera did come on very strong in the end, and have Calderon in trouble.
Thats what worries me about Calderon though, i remembers Gerado Verde coming on late against him, i remember Barrera doing it, and Cazares doing it. Calderon basically always NEEDS to go 12 rounds hes not getting a KO, and fighters can often get to him late in fights. Is it just a matter of time before he loses or is KOd? I dunno.
That being said, i still think Calderon beats Cazares. Im expecting Cazares to put heavy pressure on Calderon as soon as it starts. During the fight Calderon catches Cazares coming in and will drop him, not hurt him but put him down due to placement and timing. Calderon does that a lot but never gets the KO. Then Cazares slows down and is outboxed. Thats my prediction.
cant wait for this fight!Comment
