PRIDE was way better then the UFC, why do you think UFC fired BJ for trying to fight for PRIDE?
dude , it's hard to argue with you. you don't read posts correctly.

    i'll try though.

i didn't say all japanese are tomato cans. obviously sak , gomi , uno , kohsaka , etc. are world class fighters.

obviously i'm egging wladowns on with the tomato can comment. i seriously doubt nogueira and cro cop are japanese tomato cans.

mma is a lot older than the records they keep. you can't look up sherdog and say oh this guy is the best ever.

fedor is a great fighter but he is not the greatest of all time.

      i'd go with rickson!

      war rickson!

      rickson by armbar.
Who the hell is the best?? SANCTIONED mma has only been around since 1993. Are street fights considered mma fights?? Or a judo tournament?? Or how about Bruce Lee's karate tournaments?? I wish mma was developed back then. Bruce Lee was the first one to say all you need to do is learn how to strike and wrestle. He was thinking mma before it was even on the map.

But the fact of the matter is Fedor is EASILY the best mma fighter of all time. It's not even close. How many mma guys other then WEC hype like Torres are REALLY undefeated and have fought the best?? I started as a Nog fan many years ago, but after watching Fedor's massacres over anybody he fought, it was hard not to be impressed. Obviously I wasn't born a SRR fan considering I'm 22, but after watching his fights, it's obvious he's the best boxer of all time and my personal favorite.

Because the Americans still are disgusted with the floyd vs oscar fight and want there money back.
I ain't no white but i love the UFC. Don't think it's so redneck as the WWE.. It comes to taste, I would buy anything other than Oscar, i bought his last ppv vs Floyd but that was to support the main man... And Oscar wasn't such a ***** back then, he was playing the "nice" guy (although refusing to go down to 147, choosing ring and gloves and cutting a 60-40 deal vs maybe the best modern fighter is quite bitchy) so i was like "why not?". Now i committed to not buy anything Oscar is selling. Come on, "it's personal?!" how much of a ***** you look when you say that in reply to not fighting Margarito?? "It's personal, you mess with my kid, you mess with the hole family"

You're not arguing with me you're confirming what I'm saying. I thought you were debating seriously despite crap like "Honda, Toyota" or whatever it was you said. But it sounds to me that your argument is "Fedor isn't the best because when was mma founded what about guys from back in the day" which is funny considering mma wasn't a sanctioned sport. If a karate guy fights a boxer in a street fight is that mma to you?? Would Bruce Leroy give Fedor a go?

Domain was WAY off with 3 million buys. The UFC topped 1 barely once, and that was Chuck vs Tito. GSP vs BJ will be a mega fight, but if Lesnar vs Couture happens in November (a strong rumor right now) that will outdraw BJ vs GSP.

okay. mma has been around longer than 1993. 1993 is when the ufc started. orgs like pancrase and rings are older than the ufc.

but anyways. the arguments for b.j. was because wlad owns brought it up. the b.j. arguments are separate from the fedor arguments. re-read the old posts.

fedor is #1 heavyweight right now he has been since he whooped my boy antonio rodrigo.

i don't consider him the greatest ever though. let's leave it at that.

MMA was established when Vale Tudo (no holds barred) was invented on a courier on October 4th, 1928, between a battle of Japanese fighters vs Americans. Brasilians believed BJJ (Brasilian Jiu Jitsu) was superior to wrestling and Japanese judo and jiu jitsu.

SANCTIONED mma didn't start until 1993. How old do you think RINGS is?? And you do know there are no commissions in Japan right??

If Fedor isn't the best, and it's OBVIOUS he is, who is then??? The guy who won that battle on the Courier??
