As a good world level fighter at 140lbs. He's got nothing to give above that weight as we all know now. But... at 140, one of the best at the moment.

He'll never be an ATG, but he's put some good performances in, and had a lot of undue stick since the Mayweather fight.

However, at 147 I guess he is a piece of ****, and 140 aint that hot at the moment. Especially considerring people like Paulie M manage to headline fight cards.

Anyone who calls him a bum, or even "average" is either being inflammatory or doesn't know boxing IMO. There are NO average fighters at this level. ZERO.

Side note: I agree he was overrated going into the PBF fight. Myself included, I got on the Hatton hypetrain as much as anyone, and I'd do it again

Just goes to show that there is a little *********** in every family. Everybody seemed all happy on the HBO24/7 piece. Now it seems like one good arse whoop'n has brought the whole house of cards down. If it wasn't for those alcoholic morons singing Christmas songs and booing national anthems, I might even root for Hatton this go round... but sadly.. no.

That's easier said than done when your natural instinct is to do the exact opposite of that without your nutritionist's prodding.

So, when he fought another 140'er, it was a fair fight...right? He wasn't fighting a bigger man, and he didn't have to gain weight.

Mayweather/hatton was effectively a 140 fight where neither guy bothered to make weight.

Do you agree with that statement?

secondly, when someone says "average champion", that is like saying 'average NBA player'. Yeah. We all realize that they are better than 99% of the other practitioners of their sport. But , FOR THAT LEVEL, they are average.

For example, "david Dia' was an average beltholder".

So you'd agree that Hatton is an average undisputed linear champion with a belt at a higher weight?

No I don't agree with that statement. They weighed in at 147, that's undisputable.

Secondly, if you're going to use the word average, then use it as it's meant. It's not cricket to add hidden conditions to statements said previously.
