In light if the announcement by Light Middleweight Oscar De La Hoya to take on Lightweight and former Flyweight Champion Manny Pacquiao, WBA Welterweight Champion Antonio Margarito and his manager are in Puerto Rico this weekend looking for their next possible opponent. According to Diaz, “Tony wants to take on the winner of this weekends WBO Title bout between Light Flyweights Ivan Calderon and Hugo Fidel Cazares. If that can’t be done he is looking to get the winner from Israel Vazquez & Rafael Marquez 4.”
After a moment of uncomfortable silence, both Diaz and Margarito broke out in laughter.
