De La Hoya-Pacquiao: Manny To Study Pernell Whitaker

****m Richardson, chief trainer of Bernard Hopkins, played the psyche game perfectly when he asked hundreds of Kelly Pavlik fans at a Youngstown pep rally "....look at all of you and all of the nice signs and posters...but are you still going to love Kelly after the fight? Will you show the same affection for Kelly after Bernard is through with him on October 18? I really hope you do, but I am not sure." The big hometown crowd jeered and booed. Richardson laughed it off and returned to his seat on the dais....... [details]

Wow, I know Manny is trying to become more like a boxer than a brawler, but... there is a limit Skateboard P.

What the **** does Manny think he can do that Sweet Pea did? LMAO Manny trying to somewhat fight like Sweet Pea is like Larry Bird trying to play Michael Jordan. **** just ain't gonna happen.

              Threadjack:

I thought Whitaker beat Hoya in that fight. Oscar was hitting air all night long. Jim Lampley was Oscar's cheerleader, too.

im sure pac don't want to fight like whitaker, he just wants to see if dlh has any weaknesses against southpaws.

wont matter in any case since dlh is just too big.

Pacquiao's biggest issue is that he has very little defense for the jab, and that will be a big issue when he fights De La Hoya.
