I just don't want to see another mass exodus of Puerto Ricans from this board if and when Juanma gets beat by a relative nobody. At least he fights in the land of the tiny men where he can beat on nobodies and get credit for it because he's just a lil guy (the Calderon method)
DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE BEATINGS THE PUERTO RICAN TITO TRINDAD PUT ON YOUR UNDEFEATED MEXICAN FIGHTERS , CAMPAS, VARGAS, AND MAKING "POLLO DE LA HOYO" RUN FOR HIS LIKE AND NEVER FIGHT AN EQUALLY MATCHED FIGHTER AGAIN!!!!

If Ruiz beats Valuev(which I doubt), and Calderon win, I think it would be an average year, pending other fights PRicans have until Decemeber, if any. If Calderon and Ruiz lose, I would say a VERY bad year. But they will be back, no doubt.

At least we Puerto Ricans have had a better year than Mayweather fans since Mayweather ran for his life and retired (you are still looking for fighters to support and call the next Mayweather), at least we have stood by our fighters even when they have lost and we still have 3 World Champions in the game and we'll have a better year when Ivan Calderon wins tonight.

First off Quintana won a fight he should have never won in the first place....Paul Williams somehow got beat by a fighter who got dominated by Cotto so that was just a plus the first time.. Im still a big Cotto fan, i still rep my fighter even if he only has one loss and no one should be worried about PR, they have always been a force in boxing

Not just beat he whooped Pwill ass all over the ring for 12 whole rounds to me thats way more impressive than getting knocked out in the first round .If Quintana would have boxed more instead of going for the knockout in the first round it would have been the same result .Quintana gives him a rematch and Pwill runs away like a lil ***** settle the score Pwill.

so 115-113 or 116-112 is more impressive than first round KO now?

It's amazing how offended the Puerto Ricans get over this, calling me Mexican and ****

I won't even hesitate to give Rican's that much. I said it from the start, thank Cotto and Margarito for givin us what the sport wants.

If Cotto was like Mayweather, Margro wouldn't even have gotten that chance to fight. And that a great fight like that wouldn't have taken place.
