    Sugar Ray Leonard Vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

    Who wins?

    I'm curious to see if the Floyd fans think he can actually beat Leonard. He would stand a good chance but i think Sugar Ray would give him a beat down just like he did to Mayweather Sr.

      The higher the weight obviously the less of a chance Floyd would have.

      Leonard was significantly the heavier man though so a straight comparison is worhtless IMO.

      P4P it goes to Leonard purely on resume. I think Floyd was the better and more skillful boxer of the two though.

          Good fight that Snr/Leonard fight was and yes snr got a beatdown..

          While Floyd is obviously a lot more gifted then his old man on every level
          i would still say Leonard would put some hurt on him..

              It would be a good fight, but 147 Leonard beats him. Floyd still has a great defense & as far as we know a good chin, so he would probably last. Leonard just had all the tools, where as Floyd has everything but power & 147.

                      Great fight between them and I believe every fight would be a pick'em fight. Most likely the would have to fight a few times. As big of a PBF fan as I am it wouldn't surprise me if Leonard won in a trilogy or something like that. I can see it in reverse also.

                          Yeah his father was an ok fighter, but he just let Leonard pound the **** out of him in the corner in some rounds. I could never see Floyd letting that happen.

                              Well it has to take place at 147 because Leonard never fought at 135.
