That sucks, I was hoping to make a little coin on Vitali. Given that no one has ever come back from a 4 year layoff to win a major world title without a single tuneup fight, I pictured him as about a 4 or 5 to 1 dog. I think the odds have to change between now and the fight.

There is probably some inside info about how his camp is going, if I had to guess. Rarely does the sportsbetting industry make a bad call initially. Odds can change if there is heavy betting on the underdog, though.

Klitschko's injuries have been 2 out of 37 fights when he was beating each guy like a carpet. The injury (singular) which caused him to retire was a serious knee injury caused when his feet became entangled with his sparring aprtners and he fell heavily, snapping the anterior cruciate ligament, plus a few additional meniscus tears.

The causes of the original postponement against Rahman, was actually incorrectly diagnosed as a thigh muscle tear, because he felt the pain in his thigh. It took time, and a couple of tentative dates, to find out that it was actually a spinal bony outgrowth which was pressing on the branch of the sciatic nerve which went to his thigh. This was a natural bodily event, and not an injury at all. He had an op which snipped away the bony spur. His cancellation against McCline WAS an injury, I believe a disc injury, which needed an op. I've had this myself and know that although the disc is in the mif=ddle of your back, the pain is in the leg. I'm sure other readers have had this too.

Peter is crude as it comes but i think he can edge it as Vitali will be rusty and past it imo.

Purely off garbage ass McCline dropping Peter a couple of times and giving him trouble.

Inactivity is a ***** and Vitali can't do much about it.

Samuel Peter tko 8 V Klitschko

he he hee! sams been looking like a pathetic oaff last fights.
i get the feeling he's having training problems. he's regressed .
have thought that at any other time in hvwt history he'd be considered 2nd tier.
at one time vitali was considered a whining weak top tier.

i think vitali should plan on getting extra medical insurance just incase he trips at the weigh-in.
peter could get dangerously desparate early i feel and make vitali give up.

peter got rocked and floored in his recent fights.

i believe it was jameel mccline who althought is one big asss dude is not known for having KO power.

so imagine what dr. ironfist will do to peters chin?

I think the reason some people are giving peter a chance is because of the 4 year gap, injuries and inactivity on vitali's side other than that Vitali is too strong for peter to trouble.
