mosley was controlling the first 2 rounds but got all off his game when he got headbutted....dont get me wrong a true champion is able to recover from those things so he lost fairly....but he also outboxed vernon in the 2nd fight he just didnt punch enough because he was scared of getting rocked again......the first punch of the 2nd fight he rocked forrest and he did it a few more times in that boring ass fight....vernon forrest is like tarver there both skilled good boxers but unfairly got great praise because there personal motivation to beat p4p vaulted them to victory

What the hell, no he wasnt. Shanes may have more ability or natural talent but his main problem is he is too tense especially when he gets in trouble in the ring.

thats why i used the tarver example against roy jones....he wins head to head but hes not the better fighter

Well yes, but your original post indicates that you think Shane should and would have won both fights had he fought better, and I disagree.

Shane tried to engage the first fight and got beat up.

He tried to box the second fight and didn't do anything necessary to win the fight.

He can't beat Forrest.

Co-sign homey. History will remember SSM way more than Forrest, but it don't change the fact that when Shane was at his peak, Vernon punked him twice.

Your exactly right..Styles do make fights...Mosley lost to Vernon 2x, and Vernon lost to Mayorga 2x, but yet Mosley wouldve and WILL embarass Mayorga
