    oscar de la hoya is like rocky in part 3

    he's rich no love for the sport and needs a brutal beating to bring him back to his roots(thats why i'm glad mayweather retired because he was following the same path) you cant be a great boxer if you're strickly fighting for money,fancy cars and woman....eye of the tiger,hunger and love is what made oscar,floyd and great boxers period great...its a sad day and gives the sport a black eye when uncompetitive fights are made soley for money.. and to the oscar fans i appoligize for all the negative threads i made about him but i love BOXING and this fight just pisses me off because its all for the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mr larry x

    Oscar is at the stage of his carreer where he does big fights only, I cant complain he earned his spot to do what he wants. He has faced better opponents than most fighters out there but I agree it seems silly.

      i understand but atleast do big fights that are competitive with people your size!!! dont rip off the fans with lies and hype..but to those who will still buy it...enjoy

          Seriously I though he should have fought Cotto before Marg, I strongly feel he can and could have beaten Cotto with his power.

            yea to be perfecally honest if he wouldve trained like a poor man he wouldve ko'd cotto in 8 or less

                lol i still find it hilarious that Philly has a statue of Rocky and he aint even ****in real. i guess thats the closest Philly will ever get to ever winning a true championship!
