Anytime I can see Mayorga get beat up, it's a good day for me.
I have had this pleasure a couple of times and they were beautiful knockouts.

The funny thing is as much as a brawler as Mayorga thinks he is, he needs space to get off, and Tony doesn't.

I say Margs, and I would hope a knockout.

Prime for prime I could see this being a pretty tough fight for each fighter.
Right now, Margarito by a landslide. Margarito is in his physical prime right now, and hes a mother****er for anyone to beat at this point. Mayorga is a very tough brawler, and very hard hitter, but at his age and with some of the beatings hes taken, I dont see him standing a chance.
Margarito would retire him at this point, for sure.

Once Mayorga sees he wont knock him out within the first three rounds Marg takes over and stops him in 9.

I think at 154 it'd be a tougher fight for Margs but I can still see him takin it by late stoppage...I think this would be a great toe-to-toe brawl by 2 heavy handers with great chins..

I'd like to see Margarito fight the winner of Mosley-Mayorga..

I believe Mosley has shown interest in gettin in there with Margarito that'd be a sick ass fight where I believe Mosley can take a UD from Margarito..

But if by miracle Mayorga gets past Mosley..

            I'd love to see Mayorga-Margarito..

            Dude called him a Taxi-cab Driver and a Mariachi!..LOL!..

            Margs can't let that slide..

When this fight could have happen Mayorga was primetime, p4p, and making millions. Margarito lost his biggest and only fight on HBO. Mayorga would have killed the Margarito that fought Daniel Santos.

Now my boy Mayorga is about half of what he used to be. Margarito is in his prime. So I would have to lean towards Tony. The only thing is Margarito isnt going to outsize Mayorga like he did with Cotto. Mayorga is a few inches taller, longer reach and a full weight class or two bigger than Cotto. Margarito couldnt out size Paul Williams and look what happend. What really kills Mayorga is great boxers with one shot KO power. Something Marg doesnt have, so it wouldnt be as easy as you think.

Who told you Margarito only fought on Hbo against Santos? they lied to you!

Margarito fought Lewis, Huerculies and Santos on Hbo plus others on Showtime. I might have missed some of his other fights on Hbo but those i know for sure.
