He won a title at Flyweight first and is fighting a 147, he was most effective at SuperFeather-Feather. He's giving up 17 pounds. This is THE hardest fight Manny could take from his options (Valero, Soto, Lightweight champs)Comment

Was Manny pacman physically forced to sign the contract or held at gun point. You are making out to be Oscar is going to kill him; he has a chance to win. No excusesComment

It's a cash and get out scheme. Same thing will happen in this fight that happened when DLH fought the much bigger Hopkins. Fun for a minute, then comes the TKO.Comment

There will always be excuses in boxing, thats what publicists are for, damage control. Whenever anyone loses or has a bad performance, there are a million and one excuses brought up and smoke mirrors which preserve the fighter's marketability. Look at Oscar, he's lost a few fights in his career but there was always something.
1) Trinidad, I was robbed.
2) Mosley, I was distracted by music career.
3) Mosley II, I was robbed, I'm going to investigate.
4) Hopkins, He was too big for me, I shouldn't have fought him.
5) Mayweather, one judge had it for me.
Pacquiao has done the same.
1) Marquez, foot sores, I hurt my hand
2) Morales, I wasn't used to the weight.
It happens in boxing.
This is just the way the boxing machine works.Comment

No excuses, just a loss. He can't beat Oscar unless he stays outside and boxes, and even then I have serious doubts. He isn't going to stay outside and box, though, and will most likely get caught with a big ol' left hook or possibly a lead right, and be KO'd.Comment
