Valuev-Ruiz II: Returning To The Scene of the Crime

By Jake Donovan - It’s been nearly a month since a significant boxing telecast has taken place on a Saturday evening, with the sport all but going on hiatus for much of the month of August. The live weekend action resumes on August 30, with not one but two rematches, both of which happen to take place in the very same arena as its predecessor. [details]

Mr.Donavan, Roy Jones became the first Lt. Heavy to win the Heavyweight title in over 100 yrs.? Did you ever hear of a boxer by the name of Michael Spinks? Who was the legitimate Lt. Heavy champ who moved up and won the legitimate Heavyweight title. With all due respect to Ruiz and Jones,Ruiz was barely a top 10 heavy let alone the legitimate champ.Jones never defended his "title" and in his next fight was KTFO by Antonio Tarver at Lt. Heavy.

Wow, I will probably miss both fights. Will either fight be on television?

I am going to watch on stream. I am one of the 16 people in the usa who is interested in seeing this fight.
The others being wladowns, tunney, herbert, and maybe Boof.

Valuev looked pretty sharp against Lyhakovich, was really impressed with his ever improving jab. And Ruiz bored McCline to death but won many rounds.

wow you took down that streaming site fast.

i sort of want to believe ruiz but he talked similarly before his mccline bout.
read most scribes thought it was a snooze fest.

i tell you right now i'm burnt on that lackey wlad still ruling and hope someone lights a fire under the improved valuev so after the ruiz he takes wlad to task.
read valuevs stamina was excellant against laikovi...
imo a giant like him doesnt have to improve that much to beat these other clowns. i'd much rather have valuev be star of the hvwt circus!
