Actually I was a weight lifter in high school. A lot of lifters used roids. You show your ignorance because there are some roids that drain water to make you more cut. others add weight to your body but if you don't train properly it'll turn to fat. No I didnt use roids. My bulge comes from Budweiser!

I understand why athletes use steroids, at the same time I totally understand why people are upset about them.

Professional athletes are looked upon as "godlike" and doing what normal people cannot do, as in having the natural abillity to do things that are impossible to the average joe. When taking steroids it takes the individual down to that average level and shows possibly anyone could succeed with it...So I totally understand why the controversy is their...Would Barry Bonds have hit 700 homeruns without steroids? Most likely not, It was like he was reborn when he was sliding.


I support the use of steroids if taken properly and im not against them although I wouldnt use them myself, Im not going to discharge my opinion on an athlete if I find out they were using them.


In the 70's and 80's steroids were legal and a lot of people were using them, most people didnt seem to care then but when the government says *NO* to steroids then the people act as if it is a big concern when just a few years ago, everyone shrugged their shoulders at it.

Absolutely, But I dont think it was made public or published like it is now....Im proud of Vitali that he has the testicular fortitude to admit it, Although it may raise questions of "well he did it then why not now" type of deal....


Steroids are a thing of the past and shouldnt be blown out of proportion as it is today, everybody and their mom seems to have used them at some point.

Use of steroids is like most thing not especially dangerous if tkaen in small amounts, here its legal too use but its on the druglist so you cant use em if cour competing in any way,
its fine by me if someone not competing use them its there own responsibility.
