Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, sign me up, put me on!! I actually haven't seen the fights that Cannon and Campbell did, but I know Shannon got some pretty good reviews for the work he did. I wish they would have called me, though, at least for a one time live tryout. I believe I could do that job easily and I think live would be easier and even better. Maybe in the future. It actually looks like Iam doing a live show in Houston in October. Anyone here from there?

          ICEMAN JOHN SCULLY,

What type of preparation do you go through when you broadcast for Espn Classic? Obviously you have to pretend like your doing a live broadcast which means have to be up on the present and past scene of the time and of course not mention anything that happens beyond the fight. Is it also hard to get into a fight when you know what's going to happen and do some acting along the way?

Here's a question, why didn't ESPN classic just use the HBO call? Still Iceman is a great commentator. His call on Moorer-Holyfield was great.

I believe because ESPN purchased the rights to show the footage only. You'll also notice they don't include any HBO graphics and they sensor out any HBO signs that may have been present within the arena.

I honestly don't think they can, even though they buy the rights.

I thought Briggs did an excellent job to be honest.
Iceman does too of course, but honestly, and I've said this for a while, John would be ideal for Shobox the next generation.

The thing about it is, he's a trainer at heart, helping guys to get to the big time.
What could be better than him analyzing guys who are up and comers, what they need to work on, what they are doing right, then him?

Classics are great, but they generally show fighters at the top of their game in well, classic wars, and the guys are commenting on the action and doing a good job of keeping it live, but I think Ice is (and I am presuming) a guy that lives in the momet, and can see things happen as a color guy with these prospects much quicker than who they have now.

I think show SHOBOX rather than classic fights is the ideal job for John.,

If you have Direct TV, you can scan the program guide or do a search and see every listing for about the next 10 days.
