Aaron Pryor in todays Welterweight Division?

He is an ATG 140 pound fighter, but how would he fair in today's WELTERWEIGHT division. The man never got his lucky break as Leonard retired before he could get his fight and then came back but at Middleweight. Duran had passed 140 to 147 and moved up as well. Hearns had done the same. He never got his big break.

He had a great chin, great power and an hold no bars attitude. Personally I think even in today's deep Welterweight division he would be the top dog, overtaking Cotto, Margarito, Williams and the other contenders.

i think he would've been too small, at lightwelter though he'd rule with an iron fist.he could possibly beat cotto.

Aaron Pryor could definitely eat up a shot. BUT Arguello was a small guy and his style was taylor made for Pryor.

I think Sugar Ray couldve beaten Pryor but he was too dangerous to take the chance

The Hawk was the motha ****in man!!!!! At 140 today, he would slaughter everyone IMO!!! I think he'd be good at WW too but might have some trouble with the bigger guys at WW as he wasn't a big man himself. I ****ing love watching Pryor fights! He was so fast and powerful!!!

                  It's Hawk time!!!!

He was used to fighting taller guys like Arguello who was around 5ft 11 and Cervantes who was 5,10 as you stated he has the power and skills to compete along with the chin. So i personally think he would be able to take the best welterweights. You ever watched the fight where he was Kded then did a back roll ended up on his feet and ran at his opponent to have another crack at him.
