No...Morales was in starting half of that 8fight win streak.

When he fought Pac he was on a KO rampage knocking out Johnny Tapia, Paulie Ayala, Derrick Gainer and Kevin Kelly all in succession but not necessarily in the order i listed

I have no qualms with the first Morales bout. It's the second Barrera and the second and THIRD Morales bouts that piss me off. All that sandwiched in between no-hopers and people moving up two divisions.

Juarez had already exposed Barrera's decline and Morales got straight beatdown by Zahir Raheem. And then you fight him again? And a third time??? Wow...imagine if Floyd did that.

I give Pac a pass because he finally fought Marquez again. But he barely won and is now moving to his next payday, against a clown. Ugh...I guess this is what boxing is coming to.

Um...Juarez exposing Barrera's decline?? wouldnt be the 1st time he'd been written off as a done deal. Barrera lost 2 to junior jones and they thought he was finished. But he goes and beats Naseem Hamed. Loses to Morales they thought he was done. Beats him in the rematch. Loses to Pac and he follows by beating Morales a 3rd time and a 4 yr win streak. Prime Juarez failed to win 1 rd vs declined Barrera in the rematch

Yeah, except the only difference between Juarez and Junior Jones was that Bareera WAS declining. That, and about 12 years of AGE on Barrera. Not to mention the skill disparity between Jones and Juarez. But yeah, carry on...

Well you were saying that you had a problem with the 2nd Barrera fight. Like it or not however the top 4 juniorlightweights at the time were
                1. Barrera
                2. Morales
                3. Pacquiao
                4. Juarez

Morales and Pacquiao were busy fighting each other and declined or not the only other legitimate contender in the division failed to win a single rd against him in the rematch. The rematch with Pacquiao came as a result of Pac being the mandatory 4 his belt

How can that be true when Soto beat the **** out of Juarez (way, WAY worse than Barrera could even dream--and before Barrera did it!) and then Guzman beat Soto? So how can that top four be true??

And Morales didn't deserve a rematch, he got his a** whooped by Zahir Raheem. WHOOPED. And Pacman fought him anyway?

And then knocks him out so...he fights him a third time? Gimme a ****ing break.

Sotto was WBO i think? champ at the time therefore wasnt recognized by wbc rankings. Morales lost to Raheem at 135 and therefore didnt affect his 130 ranking. Pacquiao still needed to beat Morales to earn a title shot. The 3rd fight may have been unnecessary but Morales wanted it so Pac gave it to him

this from an amir khan fan?

let me tell you something......when amir khan stops fighting old , shot featherweights...... then you can talk about about someone fighting past prime legends.
