Briggs should go all out in the first round.

Most probably. Golota still has great conditioning, Briggs only has his punch.

We know Golota is suspectible to early round knockouts, even McBride had a very good first round again him (not to mention Brewster/Lewis). If Golota survives early, it should be his fight unless he walks into a Briggs punch like Lyakhovich did.

You never know with Golota, although he seems to have calmed down now that he is older.

Hmm. This is just a 'moneyfight' for the both of them. No real perspective title-wise IMO. Golota is an enigma and Briggs is an asthmatic. Who knows what's gonna give?

The only thing I am sure will not happen is a Briggs win by decision. Other than that anything can happen including a DQ. If I got to pick a winner, which is very difficult, I think I'll take Briggs thinking that he'll land something big discouraging the foul pole inside the first 3.

Briggs of course will gas out and be outboxed for the UD. He's got a big punch but he never wages an all out assault early on, which is odd for a guy wit no stamina.
