I notice a lot of discrimination against Mexican and European boxers, and favoritism toward African-Americans.

Perfect example is Zab Judah. Would any Mexican or European boxer who loses so often get so many title opportunities?

He's lost 4 of his past 6 fights.

So yes, racism definitely exists in boxing.

I remember in school when Hatton fought Mayweather I noticed a lot of people supporting Mayweather were black and a lot of people supporting Hatton were white.

Or Gatti, Langford, Chuvalo, Berbick, Johnson, Ruddock. Those names might not be really great, but I would be hard pressed to name greater British fighters.
