Who really won Castillo vs Mayweather 1 (Public Poll)

Just got through watching it again. Scored it 114-112 Mayweather. Could see it being a draw but no way did JLC win IMO.

the problem with this fight is that castillo was the champ and theres no way on earth that mayweather beat the champ convincingly enough to take the belt imo.

I really hate this mentality tbh. IMO a fight is a fight in isolation. You win it you win it. Who gives a **** who the champ was. If the champ loses a close fight he gets an immediate rematch. That is how it should be done.

Any opponent should have to beat the other convincingly in order to get the win. With that line of thinking the challenger always goes into a fight with a champion at a disadvantage which is basically cheating.

So what should happen when have 2 champions fighting for each other's belts who should have to beat who convincingly?

U take the title from the champ you do enough to take the title
cuz your fighting to take it while the other is defending it
The champ gets the benefit of the doubt...

That fight was to close i orignally had JLC winning

Mayweather won the rematch with ease
