We'll it's too late to tell him now! O and his defense was fine in his prime his head moved so much that it was extremly hard to hit him squarely. It was when Cus died that he stopped practising it obsessively so he stopped moving his head and got KO'd.

Granted he came back to destroy the guy...

But if your getting chin checked and dropped by guys like Conyers....

        I dunno.

The upper levels will feast on you.

he's definitley entertaining to watch and is a breath of fresh air but he is no Tyson. in fact, he is a light mw so I don't know how he is comparing himself to tyson. even at 154 pounds, he still doesn't have the speed, agility or head movement that tyson did at 220pounds.

Say hello to your next Edison Miranda.

Don't get me wrong. Kirkland is a fun to watch as any but he'll go down in flames. And I think it's sooner rather than later. I wish him the best though.

For the exact same reason that every one wants to be the next Michael Jordan in B-ball or the next Joe Montana in Football...the greatest will always have immitators...but very rarely do they ever measure up!!

We'll see when you beat some better fighters there, James. He's pretty exciting to watch though. I hope Top Rank picks him up.
