    A great super fight

Boxing needs this fight of De la Hoya and Pacman. Even though Pacman is going to get whooped, he will show up in shape and will fight with heart and courage. A good fight in Margarito and Cotto which was a super fight only did no more than 500,000 ppv buys. Now throw the best draw in boxing (Oscar) and bring in Pacman (who is more marketable than Margarito and Cotto) and now we're gonna have a super fight that might even break the 2.2 million ppv buys of De la Hoya Mayweather. Oscar is saving boxing and he will be missed when he's gone. De la Hoya could fight a joe blow off the streets and outdue more ppv buys than Margarito Cotto. Good thing De la Hoya runs his Golden Boy Promotions which will keep him in the sport for a long time. This my friends makes him the savior of boxing. Hopefully Pacman will sign soon, because he is the most marketable out of all those names being thrown out there. And yes, Pacman has been a Mexican Assassin, so lets see if he has what it takes to take out the 35 year old Golden Boy.

Delahoya is a smart man and needs to understand Mexican fans arn't ******, im sure most Mexicans fans will tell Delahoya, Marquez already beat Pacquiao and he should fight Margarito.

I doubt this fight surpasses Mayweather v. Delahoya, even though im seeing the local channels talking about who Delahoya is going to fight next.

      Delahoya no teines huervenza!

            Golden *****

so much of recent boxing coverage is devoted to speculation about who oscar's going to fight. it almost makes you wonder if oscar's dragging it out just to hold the public's attention long enough until the official promotions kick in. maybe even build up excitement and drama. maybe because he just loves all the attention like the golden ***** that he is.

negative or positive, he's definitely getting that attention. all the storybook twists have been thrown around: sealing the legacy. big man / little man. betrayal (by Roach). backfired plans (margarito's win over cotto). mexican-filipino rivalry. revenge (the most recent twist put forth by golden ***** himself). as been pointed out, some of these themes simply don't apply (like revenge). but attention is attention, and stories sell just like they do in professional wrestling.

but i say Who gives a **** who oscar fights? I wanna know who Margarito's going to fight next! I wanna know how Pacman's going to establish himself in 135 lbs until he decides to take on JMM again! I wanna know how JMM is going to get Pacman's attention in the lightweights! I wanna know how cotto's gonna stage a comeback! Oscar? Retirement fight? High PPV numbers? I might check it out. But there are better things to spend your money on than the Golden *****.

Could go either way. High PPV numbers are good - people are watching. But a bad fight is not good - people will stop watching. If pacman fights golden *****, you'll have to pray that it won't be horribly one-sided.

Julio Cezar Gonzalez or Soul Montana could try to avenge Mexico with better chances!

In fact, Mexico wants Chavez to be avenged by Margarito
