this is shame... delahoya fighting an opponent almost half his size. and still wanted to get the the biggest slice of the purse.

shame... shame on you Olden Boy!

and you pacman... why are you so desperate in fighting the Olden Boy?

there is no real threat for you at 135, but at 147??? you will surely get KO'd!

you will make x-caret and pedro fernandez of ringtalk laugh their hearts out.

I think that during James Toney's championship run, Freddy was not long training, and probably not on his own yet. He quit in the late 1980's and Toney became promiinent about 1990 although I'm not sure. Maybe Lazcano although I didn't know he trained him. The Tyson blip was when Mike was 40'ish and well overdone. And I think he had a short stint with Michael Moorer. But, until Manny, nothing outstanding as far as I know.

None of the above should have earned him Trainer of the Year" Maybe it's just a bit of PR BUMPFH and he actually was named by some obscure group.

I began to dislike him when his "fine Levantine hand" was discovered deeply involved in Manny's signing with Oscar, who, if you remember, was "raiding" all the top promoters and trying to steal their star fighters..... like Corrales, for instance, this was around the same time, and the excuse they gave was that Diego was friendly with Mosley......

Compared to Manny Pac, Oscar DLH is a nobody!!

Pac should get a 50/50 split!!

Manny has a bigger fanbase than DLH.....Manny has the Asian continent on lock! as well as millions of other fans ALL around the world! DLH has a few Mexican fans and alot of American and European fans....thats it!! Nobody knows Oscar in the Phillipines.....but I bet every Mexican knows Manny Pac

                De la Hoya the icon

De la Hoya does a 2.2 million ppv buy with Mayweather, and the Mayweather Hatton super fight couldn't even do 900,000 ppv buys on their own. And Pacman is nowhere near that number, although he does have a big filipine fan base. When it comes down to it, Oscar has the biggest fanbase of the them all. De la Hoya and Pacman will be a good fight. I'm sure he's not gonna run like Floyd Mayweather did. We should get a good fight. After De la Hoya ko's Pacman, I see him continuing his legacy with one more fight with Julio Cesar Chavez jr. or a Mayrunner rematch on cinco de mayo.

He's really running away from Margarito haha.

I wish someone like Larry Merchant would just acknowledge this.

Manny bigger than DLH??? Be real!! Manny sold around 220.000 ppv vs. David Diaz, he doesn't have excellent fanbase but its decent. Why do you think everyone wants to fight DLH, he has been and still is the cash cow of the business. He might have Asia on lock but no way Asia compares to a US household name.. one Question who has the ppv revenue record? I'll give you a clue, it's not Manny.
