Pacquiao is basically fighting DLH to make DLH look pretty. I don't think he has a chance of winning, he is simply to small.
Pacquiao is being paid to take a beating whilst DLH looks good to his fans and defeats a rivalling countries prized fighter and all Pacquiao gets is 70:30. It is out of order.
In my opinion it should be at least 60:40. Pacquiao is the one with the most to lose now and is the fighter in their prime who has just come off two wins over big names. DLH's last two fights he lost and put up a **** performance.
Pacquiao should do something underhanded and tell DLH to go ahead an fight Margarito as he is more than happy to take peanuts for the fight. See what he does, if he calls the bluff Pacquiao can still fight people in his weight class.Comment

That's expected of DLH...I am obviously not as big as fan as you are but I dig the dude and respect him cuz his done just that...I don't think anyone can make a case of DLH ducking any fighters....the whole Margo thing doesn't count because DLH has all the right in the world to pick the fight we wants to go out and put the golden seal on his HOF career....

Its fair. But pac thinks just because he is the king in phillipines, he deserves more money. Were in the states and de la hoya ihas way more popularity over here, i mean everybody freaking knows this guy. That will make pac more money than him having to fight a few fights so why not? Having DLH on his resume will also look good for his legacy. I dont understand how he thinks he should get 60-40 if De la Hoya will be the main attraction. Thats way to close to a 50-50 split which pac should not get. In order for this fight to be a mega fight, they need much more than us hardcore, even casual boxing fans. They need people who dont even follow the sport much. Do you guys really think our punny little asses will make this a mega fight. Do you think DLH-PBF was the biggest fight in history because everyone in boxingscene bought it? No they need to reach out to the masses of all races, mexicans and filipinos will not make this a mega fight. DLH brings out everyone to his fights. He is the biggest draw in boxing history and has been involved in a few fights that did over 1million PPV buys and that broke records. I mean this is a guy that did over 900k PPV with mayorga, who else can do that? In his last fight with diaz, pac did around a little less than 200k PPV right? DLH would tripple, maybe even quadruple those numbers fighting diaz. The point is that DLH is really a golden boy, everything he touches turns to gold so its only fair he gets the majority of the purse.Comment

Pac will never have this type of pay day though...I mean outside boxing circles and out side the Fillipines (where he is a god) his name is just not main stream like Oscar...let's just say Pac isn't going to be breaking any box office records any time soon...Comment
