chagaev doesnt want any part of klitschko, they tried to get a match, the only person that would step up to unify was ibragimov. chagaev gets written off for dodging IMO.

haye should not even be mentioned, he has YET to narrow an opponent and has YET to even fight at heavy weight.

It's kind of sad that a chinny CW is the best hope for this division.

I still cant see how so many haye fans feel confident that he'll be a dominant heavyweight. I like watching him,,he's exciting but I cant see how he'll last long when facing even average heavyweight punchers considering how bad his chin looked against cruisers. I here people mentioning how his chin will improve with the added weight but it sure never helped any other smaller guys when moving up to heavyweight

True, but I just don't think Toney has enough left in the tank anymore to really get a big win. He didn't really look great against Rahman, who is past it as well. If he ever got a fight against Klitschko, I think he would get KTFO. Rahman troubled him with the jab early from what I remember, imagine what Wlad would do!
i think wlad would take a UD against toney

no one, will ever stop toney he has a hard head and a crazy chin, never been hurt only knocked down once or twice in his whole career (80 fights) and they were both pretty superficial knockdowns

the toney that stopped holyfield would probably beat wlad..but yeah hes a bit past it now should try and get the third fight with peter or one last big fight and if he cant i would hope he calls it a day and retires but the man loves to fight, i wouldnt be suprised if he keeps fighting 6 or 8 rounders until hes in his 50's

Klitschko could get Khan'ed by anybody if they had a really good day and Klitschko was not on his game. By that, I mean anybody in the top 50. Sanders was not a great fighter, nor was Brewster, and everyone knows that Ross Purity was nothing special.
Klitschko is probably still the best heavyweight because of consistency, but if he has an off day and the guy across the ring is feeling confident, he's in trouble.

The hell he wasn't. The only reason Sanders didn't rule the entire division is because he was LAZY, and just wouldn't do any conditioning training. If he'd been able to fight for a full 12 rounds, that man would've been the most dangerous muther****er on the planet during his career. Lightning quick hands, solid 5140 billet steel beard, 6'6" tall, and a straight left hand that could easily put the lights out on anyone with a single touch.

Granted, Purity was nothing special, and while I give Brewster far more credit than I do Purity, even he wasn't in the same class as Sanders.

If Sanders had been conditioned properly, I'd have picked him for a 2/1 favorite over Lewis in his prime.

that goes for any fighter... if you are off, you usually lose.

sanders wasnt a great fighter, but people kind of underestimate how hard he actually hits, it wasnt like the shots landed on wlad were baby taps. he almost knocked vitali down with one shot in the first round i think of their fight.

ive discussed brewster a million times... look earlier in the thread if you wanna call that a real win for brewster.

in the heavyweight division, anyone can khan anyone if they land that lucky shot. the human chin can only take so much and if you get caught right, any heavyweight can drop any heavyweight. the chances of klitschko khaning someone and getting khaned are way different than people seem to think. he has only been khaned once, no other evidence suggests that klitschkos chin is glass.

also why the hell does the purity loss even matter any more? klitschko had not even made a mainstream name for himself back then. so what he gased in the 11th? fighters can learn from their mistakes.... no one talks about JMM's loss in his pro debut do they? some **** needs to be let go, wladimir is on a TOTALLY different level now than he was then.

The fact he doesnt means Haye vs Wlad could go either way

                      IF...

If doesn't count, because if Wlad would have his brothers chin and killer instinct every version of Haye would get a proper treatment.

The only "active" heavyweight who could beat Wlad is his brother. Vitali had and maybe still has everything to do it, but we know that this fight won't happen.
