  • Sorting out WW...Upcoming Fights

The WW division is by far the most interesting division in boxing right now. Here's how things will stack up over the next months.

Margarito vs Clottey - Margarito isn't fighting Williams anytime soon, this fight will probably happen in November. Great fight. Clottey has a real good chance, the winner will be looked at as 'the top guy' at WW which I personally disagree with but that's how it is.

Williams vs 'Jennings' or Collazo- Not even sure if I have his name right. This will be on HBO BAD this fall. Williams is facing the WBO mandatory due to the fact nobody will step up and fight him at WW. Collazo is a solid opponent with good movement, but he's a former sparring partner of Williams. Paul is the biggest question mark because nobody at WW wants to fight him so who his next mega fight will be is a mystery.

Berto vs ?? - Who really cares. He isn't ready to step up significantly in competition yet.

DLH vs Money May - This fight will happen in May of '09. Definitely. The winner of this will be the marquee name every WW is gunning for. One of them might step up and fight Williams despite the Margarito fans claiming they are cowards (when Margarito is in fact the one ducking Williams)

Cotto vs Cintron - This should happen early '09. Whoever wins this (most likely Cotto imo unless he gets cracked) will also be a marquee name most WW's will fight.

Basically there are tons of names, but with Williams being avoided, it will leave things cloudy for a long time as far as who the REAL best at WW is. Regardless, how it will play out can go a long way in determining the future stars of boxing.

The WW division is the most interesting right now? Did you just start watching boxing since Cotto/Margarito? I didn't even bother reading after that ridiculous statement.

What's the most interesting division to you?? Williams, Margarito, Cotto, DLH, Mayweather, Mosley, Margarito, Clottey, Judah, Cintron, Berto, Quintana, Collazo. The only thing even half as competitive is LW, and they don't have the star power names like WW. So please do me a favor and tell me what you would consider the most interesting division. Ridiculous statement...try everything that comes out of your mouth. Obsessing over a wack movie character. Impressive.

I'd say 122 is more competitive than 147. I have noticed that a competitive division becomes less competitive as soon a couple of the big fights play out, because the losers fall off the face of the planet.

But 122 still has Molitor (undefeated champion), Caballero (one loss, Paul Williams sized champ), Marquez, Vazquez and Lopez (undefeated champion). Incredible division.

Let me guess, you are one of those posters who love to claim you vastly have a superior and extensive amount of boxing knowledge. More so than writers, pundits and most people on this board. Is that right? Let me ask you something, would your favorite fighter happen to fight in the WW division? If so, that would explain your elitism and your ridiculously unfounded bias for the WW division.

And yes you ignorant jackass, the lightweight by far has the most talent and is the most competitive division in the world. There would be no reason to name or even explain why it is more competitive and deeper than the WW because judging by your character, you would just go through the names discrediting each fighter without realizing that the same could more easily be done to your precious division.

Why would you want to see Williams fight Margarito again if he already beat him....wouldn't you want to see Williams take the other top names that he hasn't already beaten.

Hahahaha. Who is the biggest star at LW?? Pac-man?? WW has Mayweather, DLH, Mosley, Margarito, Mayorga, Williams, Cotto, Clottey, Cintron, Berto, Judah, Collazo, Quintana etc. etc. etc.

So **** you and your condescending bull****. You ****in alt. You're a clown. To paraphrase a career loser and total 0, let me guess, you're one of those elitist idiots who go around pretending to be smarter then everybody else, meanwhile the excuse of "clarifying your statements" and the lack there of is that you're "superior" and therefore do not have to break it down.

HAHAHAHA sure idiot. And in case your punk ass didn't know, most websites and "pundits" say that the WW division is the most exciting, deep and star-studded division in boxing right now. Learn something instead of pretending to be something you aren't, intelligent, cool, and somebody superior to ANYTHING. ****in loser.
