Yes Oscar has lost my respect on this one the more I think about it...he just wants to beat a "superstar" at the top of his game...with little risk to himself, and Pacquiao is that man...he couldin't beat Hopkins, Trinidad, Mayweather and now he wants to take it out on poor old Pac for a payday!!!
I still respected him after his losses as I really enjoy his fighting style and the fact that he is a real gentleman but this is really sad now.
Be a man of your word and fight the winner of Cotto/Margarito...gee you might even beat Marg!!!!...even a loss to him on your "last" fight would gain you more respect from fans than a more than likely beatdown of Pacquiao.
      Shame on you Oscar!

Actually this Pacquiao-Delahoya fight wont be much of a mismatch at all. Pacquiao weighed 147 on the night of his last fight and looked damn impressive still. Delahoya can weigh no more than 147 on the night of the fight or face milliion dollar fines for every pound he comes in over. So unless Oscar has about 5mil stashed away in expectation of this stipulation...it'll actually be a very even fight

I don't know how anyone that calls themselves a boxing fan can respect delahoya right now.

sad but true. after years of being considered the one always willing to fight the best, why wait till the last fight of your career to become a p***y. how can oscar be proud of himself knowing that he wants to end his career fighting someone two weight classes below him. its all about money in the end i guess.

I hope Dlh kicks his ass for not fighting Valero and Guzman, and making J.M.M wait for a rematch. Sometimes I can be evil.

i lost a lot of respect for Oscar with this move..........most of his choices in fights have been pretty questionable as far as money driven but this takes the cake
