    Floyd Will Fight Next Year...IMO

the question is against who? this whole retirement thing is a sham, its to build up the anticipation for his return. i bet next year around new year he'll say I'm back and I want to fight the best. Then he'll probably fight one or two more fights. And his comeback will be promoted as a big deal and he'll make more money. Maybe Floyd vs. Margarito or whoever is the best at that point...

*for the record i don't think he should comeback, why not retire on top? but i just think he will comeback next year and it will be a big deal**

I think Floyd-Margarito will resemble Floyd-Baldomir. Margs is 1000x better than Baldy, but he's just not right for Floyd. You never know, he is a lot bigger than Floyd who moved up nearly 20 lbs to fight at that way, and he has a lot of stamina so maybe he can catch Floyd after all that layoff, but my money would be on Floyd.

I really don't care if he fights or not, because whoever he fights it will be a complete joke. Lloyd won't go near Marg or Cotto.

he said he'd be back in 2009.
i think he will aswell.i think he'd like to have the excuse of having "lost" because he was past his prime.he knows that cotto margarito williams and clottey have a good chance of beating him.
then again he said he was done...........

HAHAHA!!!!! He'll say im back and I wanna fight the best but instead he'll fight Berto citing he has ring rust to work off and he wants his belt back. Followed by a megabuck showdown with the winner of Hatton-Malignaggi at 147 instead of 140, followed by a mandatory defense against the likes of cintron.

Floyd is not going to fight Margarito. Not a chance. He'll fight DLH or some other huge name, maybe Mosley if he beats Mayorga.
