Haha. But Italy probably lost her greatest fan base in Asia as Chinese really love italy so much so that they made enemies out of Korea and Australia because of it.(football-related issues)
Chinese have really different mind sets even compared with other asian countries;They don't want to be embarrassed.
I have seen, in a football forum, a chinese guy who was fuming over Germany because Germany had beaten Thais 5-0 in a friendly. He claimed it was not all that necessary. LOL. It took some time to understand where he comes from.
All Chinese boxing medals were bogus except Zhou Shiming's and Shilamu's bronze. Zhou probably would have gotten a bronze or a silver under a fair judging system. I think the best boxer in that lightest div was the cuban guy who was made to lose to a Mongolian, another fine boxer, who had to withdraw due to the injury he sustained during the semi's. He beat Zhou in the Asian Championship last year.
The only guy who lost in the semi's was Shilamu, an ethnic kazhak just like the eventual gold medalist in that div. The Chinese did not care much for him as his gold would not bring much glory to the Chinese people(ie. Han-Chinese).
Chinese are a very racist people.Comment
