I can't keep by wonder that he took a dive on purpose in that fight making the knockout seeem worse then what it was to take away from Tarver's KO victory.

You lose one fight to Tarver, Tarver gets credit and everybody expects RJJ to be back. You lose two fights in a row, and everybody starts saying that you are washed up and neither Tarver or Johnson get the full credit they deserve. A STRATEGY.......but it's just a CONSPIRACY THEORY OF MINE.
And what does Jones get out of it exactly?

No, that would be an excuse in Roy's favor.

If my theory is right, that means that Tarver does deserve 100% credit for that magic punch and that Roy tried to diminish that victory by getting knocked out again. Danny Williams got some credit for spanking Tyson, but once that Irish Tomato cann beat him as well........Williams's victory didn't look so good.

That's what I was getting at. I was disappointed in Roy for prancing around like a girl, showboating, unstead of trying to win the fight against Tarver. It was a triology, you're supposed to win those and he didn't even try.

Didn't I already cover that? If my theory was right then Roy's losses wouldn't count against him as much because everybody would just consider them losses when he was washed up and old.

If he had gone on a big winning streak after Tarver knocked him out, that would mean that Tarver defeated a prime Roy. Losing 3 in a row and people start talking that Roy would have beaten them both Johnson and Tarver had he been in his prime.

Tyson was prime when Danny beat him but he was shot when Mcbride made him quit
