I will always remember him for lossing all the big fights and being the most overated boxer of our time

But he wasn't a coward. I agree he is quite overrated, although he was damn good in his prime. But he never ducked anyone ( untill possibly now).

Plus anyone who gets in that ring aint a coward.

Secondly that tiny demographic is pissed. Notoriety leads to heightened rembrance. You can remember someone in a bad light.

One thing I like prime Oscar is that he always takes the best competition out there, Win/loose or controversial, it doesn't matter it makes the boxing world more exciting. Later on, money changed everything but can't blame him though at least in a practical way.
