      Personally, I'd like to see Linares-Valero happen somewhat soon (over the next 2 years maybe). I'd put my money on the Venezuelan...

          Gamboa needs a bit more experience but in a year I think he'd beat Linares.

            I take JL in a late rds TKO, Gomboa is quick and might try to force the pace, but Linares is a very technically skilled fighter that will dissect you with body & head combos. I also give the power edge to JL.

              Linares by KO the guy is too sound and accurate for Gamboa who still has defensive deficiencies.

                    Exactly, a FEW years. We were talkin about this in another thread. Linares would probably chew anyone 130 and below right now in my opinion. And by below I mean they have to move up, because Linares gets weight drained..

                      Yeah, Linares has a good shot at beating anybody from 130 on down.

                      Gamboa needs a few years to smooth out the rough edges, if him and his team can do that, Linares-Gamboa in 2010 or 2011 would be a great fight.
