I would say that he is slightly less flashy(usyk is Roy Jones flashy), but more technically solid. Both have outstanding footwork and arsenal though.

Williams lost to the Russian 25-8 at the AIBA, according to the graphic on the video posted second in this thread

lomachenko did look very impressive stopping dude with three 8 counts in the first round. he is still young (20) and has 200+ amateur bouts with fluid skills. but this is the amateurs...how many great, great accomplished amateurs have we seen that couldnt nowhere near fulfill their so called potential in the pro game? and how many average amateurs have we seen go on to become multi-division world champs?

even with yoriorkis gamboa...dude is genuinely impressive in all aspects of his game. but people already labeling him as a sure-shot all time great? come on...please...

someone her even mentioned lomachenko going down in history next to pac, barrera and them? LMAO.....do you realize what the chances of that happening are, even if everything goes right? being a fan is great, but if your really into the fight game on a personal level, you would know the sillyness of this.

          p.s. - i think lomachenko is awesome too =)

Yes. Usyk is very good too, but Lomachenko is probably the best prospect in boxing at the moment.

Usyk has managed to lose some key fights when he was middleweight, and again in the 2008 Olympics. Lomachenko is at his best when he needs to be.

Very impressive showing and consistent performer. Seems to possess great defence, power and handspeed. His style should do very well in the pros.

I'd say Lamochenko is a little more promising, though Usyk is unlike any other HW

He needs tightening up technically and he would be an eyecandy.
Both are likely to be signed by K2 East though, with Wlad and Vitaly definately endorsing Lomachenko already, he is their project.

People cant complain about stiff looking Ukrainians anymore can they?

I think the school of boxing there is changing, still has the soviet discipline but allowing a more loose style, Usyk and Lomachenko being perfect examples of that.
