What? Pavlik made a name for himself in a few short years with brutal performances. He's a kid that knows how to turn over his punches correctly. And while he was KOing fools on American TV and HBO, Calslappy's name was never mentioned, nobody cared about Joe. Pavlik made his name for himself and Joe had nothing to do with it, lol.

The reason noone cared about Joe in America is because he is not American and did not box there. Who was the last foreign based fighter who boxed abroad who Americans did not regard as an overrated fake? Exactly.

You are excited by Pavlik because you know about him, and are watching him 'make his name' with his 'brutal performances'. Calzaghe did exactly the same thing many years ago, winning ABA championships in three consecutive weight classes in three consecutive years as an amateur, then amassing an excellent KO record in his first fights as a pro and outclassing opponent after opponent with incredible speed, accurate punching and awesome workrate. He then stepped up to beat the hugely famous Chris Eubank for his title, then continued his winning streak until this day, amassing a record breaking reign as world champion.

I am tired of people like you equating what you do not know with inferiority. Educate yourself.
