Wlad ducked Sanders big time. Can't say I blame him. Being floored 4 times in 5 minutes doesn't really even merit a rematch.
Maybe not Wlad himself, but his team was letting him get nowhere near him again.
You can read any article from 2003 to 2006 with Sanders and he wanted to fight him again.
It was easy work for him.

Sorry, but you can't read about the history of this fight, and try to report lies back to us as facts.

[QUOTE=IMDAZED;3961676]I don't know what "truly" ducked means. But I can tell you that he avoided his division's top fighter up until 147.

He never fought the best at 130.

He never fought the best at 135.

He never fought the best at 140.

It took a complete backlash from fans and a whole lot **** before he finally stepped up at 147.

And he is blatantly ducking the top welters (Margarito & Williams) right now.

lmao. dlh fought prime trinidad and quartey,, yet he's afraid and ducking williams and marg who has like 5 losses. thanks for the comedy dude

wlad said he wanted a rematch immediately after the fight when he was still in the ring. sanders can say all he wants,,but he obviously had everything to lose in a rematch and fought vitali instead for the vacant title

He made more money fighting Vitali and it was for another title.
                  It made the most sense.
Sanders kept preaching it but Wlad's team did nothing about it.
                  That is very well documented.
A while ago I posted a ton of articles about this, even some from here.

                  That's the truth.
