JONES-CAL Ticket Question: Are $150 tickets for sale yet?!?!?!?!

Are they on sale yet? cause i cant get any from TicketMaster.

Like, Usually, for fights like Mosley-Cotto and stuff, u select the cheapest ticket price and they say they are sold out, even though they are not yet on sale. The garden waits until they fill up the first 17,000 tickets before they release the other 4,000 seats for purchase.

So my question, are the 150$ seats available for purchase yet? or are they sold out already? Has anybody bought their 150$ seats yet??????

that's going to be a huge waste of money if Calzaghe wins as he should. I see that fight being boring as **** cuz Roy just doesn't take chances

I go to all the fights i can at the garden, cause there arent very many. Many 2 or 3 a year.

And i think it'll be a pretty good fight because Calzaghe throws a ****load of punches, and with Roys new Flatfooted, Peek-a-boo type of style, he has to either stand there and get his ass kicked or fight back.

Could be boring, but i'll take my chances for no more then 150 bucks

        Tickets are REDICULOUSLY overprived.

For Cotto-Mosley, which was a much better matchup, a ticket for me and a friend, AND expesive NYC parking, cost MAYBE 150 bucks TOTAL!!!! now i get 1 ticket for that

I'm buying a seat and setting up a webcam on a tripod so I can have a live feel copy of the fight too.

good for you. I'd probably do the same. I agree on how the fight will go, except I don't think either guy is going to push too hard. I think Calzaghe is going to just keep slapping away like he normally does (maybe that is considered pushing for him), and Roy won't commit enough to do anything about it. Five years ago, I'd take Roy by an easy, easy late round knockout, but ever since Tarver cracked him, he's looked weak. If Roy wins at this point, I would have to say that Calzaghe is not an elite fighter

yeah it is pretty ****ty. If were talking about the upper decker seats that is .. considering I paid $50 for those seats for Cotto-Judah

to triple the price? that's downright criminal.

Didn't the Garden charge $150 minimum for the Trinidad-Jones fight earlier this year? no wonder the attendance was reported at around 12,000 or so.

Yea the upper upper deck seats are pretty bad seats. 150 bucks is a ****load for them. But if the fight sells out id def be willing to pay for it, just to be apart of the atmosphere.

Lots of Calzaghe fans came out for a smaller, and more boring, hopkins fight. So i assume there would be a lot more of his fans showing up at the garden because (A) Its easier to get to because the east coast is closer and (B) its his "last fight" and (C) Roy Jones Jr. is a bigger name then Hopkins both here in the US and over there in the UK.
