Froch is a bum, but Pascal sucks ass. Froch will beat him up and hopefully fight Kessler so we can end the Froch hype.

Taylor will definitely fight him before Calzaghe will. Joe dropped his WBC belt when Froch became was his mandatory, and he would rather fight old guys instead.

But Froch is 31, been a pro for 7 years with only 23 fights. His biggest claim to fame is retiring an already-should-have-been-retired Robin Reid. Not a big accomplishment considering Lacy demolished Reid two years prior and look what happened to him when he stepped up in competition. He's got power, but thus far hasn't proven he's got anything else.

SO Jt really is going to fight Lacy. I thoght lacy had retired?
Froch spends most of his time trying to get a decent fight, rather than fighting.

It's hype until he proves himself against a live body. His fight with Pascal will help a little in that regard.

The truly big names are "dodging" him because since he's unknown, there is little money to be made against him. If that's "dodging" then so is me not taking a job at McDonald's.

How's he going to prove that when everybody is ducking him? including Taylor.

We will see who is ducking Froch when he beats Pascal for the WBC title. Nobody turns title shots down, so when Carl calls out the names, we will see who responds.

I'd like to see Taylor or Bute fight Carl next to see what he is all about on the World level. If wins come off from names like that then Kessler or Pavlik could be possibilities in 09. That my friends is what i call wishful thinking.

It's amazing how one or two guys (Inkin comes to mind) pulls out of a fight with Froch, and now "everyone is ducking him."

Taylor takes a more lucrative fight against a longtime rival in Jeff Lacy, and he is "ducking" Froch.

Calzaghe moves up to 175 to chase big fights before he retires, relinquishing his WBC belt, and he is "ducking" Froch.

The only people Froch has to blame for not getting bigger fights is his management. There is a slew of B fighters out there he could be fighting who are better than what's on his resume right now, and get him on American TV to boot, but no, he sits around fighting two or three bums a year instead. If you're going to fight subpar opposition, at least stay busy doing it, instead of sitting on your ass eight months out of your year calling out guys who don't even know your name.

Anyway, if Froch beats Pascal, I have a feeling Taylor will fight him sometime next year.
